Burning Arrow and Firestrike

Hi everybody,

I spent some time today musing over the Rangers' spell list, sighing heavily at all those spells I used to use on Live and couldn't wait to use again in SoD. Then, something struck me as odd: Firestrike, a nuke we get at level 52, deals 126 points of damage for 155 mana. Burning Arrow, which we get at 39, deals 120 points of damage for 75 mana... Both are fire-based resists and BA casts twice as fast as Firestrike. Its only drawback is the recast time, but Rangers rarely cast mid-combat anyway.

So I'm wondering, maybe there is something about Firestrike the parser isn't catching? Or maybe I'm overlooking something or other? Or are the spells really screwy that way?

I conceed it's a rather minor thing though, I'm just curious.

Firestrike does somewhat over 400 DD (317 on selve just tested but theres a PvP cap in I guess)

recast is instant like you said.

ATM at 60 I usually have both firestrike and calefaction loaded. If the &%& hits the fan I have a nuke ready even if I casted calefaction allready. So makes sense

And it was indeed 317, scratch the rest Had calefaction in mind with being 400+ (472, that is)
