Break away from althuna?

hey im new to SoD and as my pally gets higher the MQ draws nearer...i was just curious if i could break away from my paladin deity-ALthuna and choose a different one. i dunno, the fact that im forced to have althuna as my god kinda bothers me.
If you want to be a fallen paladin I hear there's this class called the shadowknight
but yeah the althuna aug is one of the most powerful, stick with it

Althuna is also a fairly easy aug and most of the bugs are shaken out of the line.
Lawful good is easy. Its basically choose good and go Silver Crown.
And SC is the only of the three MQ factions with a completed aug. The other two stop one step prior. Going pariah would be a mistake.

Fixed it! Personally speaking I think the Tarhyl aug is probably the easiest. Very straight forward that one is.

Haha I can't comment on line. I've only done gradalsh and marlow both of which I enjoyed.
Not to mention the coolest quest in the game. More people really need to do this quest it rules.
