Boxing with Fullscreen?

I said something in game about this and someone replied saying he got 2 different eq windows working with fullscreen. But in "windowed" mode. Anyone know how this is possible? I believe he added a simple command in the ini or somewhere. It is possible, and if anyone knows how that would be great!

You need to have your in game resolution set exactly the same as your desktop's resolution. I believe this works, not 100% sure though. I have had the box taking up the full screen, but I don't like it that way.

You can either use EQW which you can install from the patcher and set it to your native windows resolution for "near" full screen .. or if you just play without EQW you should be able to hit alt+enter to make those into windows

As stated above your desktop and eq window size need to be the same.

I believe it was I (Salkanaugh) who was talking to you about this... the ini change was to the eqw configuration file in the eqw folder (under the sod folder)...

You can change the line "EQWSwitch=" to a key, i.e. the "`" key (tilde key) for example. This allows you to switch between your two clients with one keystroke instead of Alt-Tabbing. Many thanks to the person (whom I can't recall) who tipped me off to that. However, that is a completely separate issue from the full screen windowed mode. I can't imagine playing any other way now, it's perfect for me.
