Bloodletter Quest Walkthrough (unfinished and abandoned)

ENLIGHTENMENT: You dont MOVE posts to the wiki, you copy/paste them into it. That way, it is in two places and people can doubly(a word? ) benefit from it. There is no reason not to if you want to help people out.

doubly is a word.

But you used it wrong.

The correct grammEr would be "Benefit doubly from it."

Shouldn't that be "You used it wrongly" or "You used it in the wrong way" or "It was used wrongly."? ;)

Ugh...English is so complicated...

I don't think I was wrong.

Subject verb(past) article adverb.

You had it wrong...
You priced it wrong...

I have been wrongly accused...

bleh, who the fuck cares?

I do.

You used it as an adverb, because wrong can function as an adverb by itself. Also, it's "grammar" though I'm guessing you did it intentionally (you capitalized the E) for some reason.

Adverbs are pretty free, so "doubly benefit" is just as grammatically correct as "benefit doubly," but one may sound better to native speakers (ie, the latter) but not in all cases.

Yea, Rabb, but that's only because you're an elitist english major. And yes, the grammEr was intentional. What I said was not real grammar correction, just what sounded 'right'.

My roommate and I (he's a linguistics major) have prescriptive and descriptive grammar arguments sometimes. It's sad, because no matter who wins, neither of us will have a job.

The quest is still doable and the mob that drops the mace is probably the most difficult to locate. He's near the musician, inside a building with a wandering golem. The golem wanders in and out of the building and the named skelly/ph is on the second floor.
