Blank EULA / missing all text still need help

Sigh... Im going to end up the laughing stock of this game if I ever get it running...

The EULA screen is missing its text, as well as the rest of the game up untill trying to get into the character select, which remains black. Ive ran it through EQW, no luck. Done a full repatch countless times, and to no avail.

Using windows xp home (registered)
Geforce 5500


EDIT: Updating the graphics card again solved the dll and exe issues, but I am still missing the text on any screen

It's really easy if you just start with installing from Titanium CDs. Honestly if you don't even have the required files there is no fix.

I have all the info on a flash drive, dunno if that helps...

And EQ Kunark, if that would be able to do it...

If "all the info" means a copy of a working SOD directory you might be able to install from your Kunark CDs; then copy the working SOD directory over the Kunark install you just did; then delete files.txt; then run the SOD patcher. There is no guarantee that it will work. You'll also want to make sure that you have full control permission to the SOD directory and that there are no read-only files in the directory.

And Game Kunark, if that would be able to do it...

Theres not a whole lot of help that can be provided if you dont have the titanium discs, as, even if you get it working with kunark, you still wont be able to play not having the appropriate zone files.

well, i installed Kunark and tried redoing SoD, and got this

The procedure entry point _AIL_open_XMIDI_driver@4 could not be located in the dynamic link library mss32.dl

Ok, ive completely uninstalled / reinstalled everquest, ran Live's patcher, and then SoD, and still having this problem...

The heck is the problem

It sounds like your version isn't current. Update your video drivers, sound drivers, and windows updates. If this doesn't work, it's because you need to go to amazon.com and pay the $15 to get titanium.
