Better duo combination

I started a paladin and have been kind of disgruntled by the fact that im not gonna be able to solo annything but undead.. so im debating a duo team.
Im thinking of starting an enchanter to cut down on the pally's downtime, or maybe starting a shaman/wartrior duo, which do you think would be more successful?
 
In the old forums, there was a stickied rules post that stated, amongst other things, that "best class/best race/best class combos/best race-class combos/etc." were forbidden topics... Looks like the rules post wasn't carried over when the forums changed, not sure if it's now fair game or if it's just an oversight...
 
I love duoing Pally / Enchanter (Khalid / Maimai).. it's easy to do in groups too, super quick mezzing etc.

What I would recommend is getting used to fighting undead. You can solo with a paladin from 1-65 + AAs against undead. I solo'd to 65 for the most part. It can be done. Even when you get to 65 with a ton of AAs you are still more effecient fighting undead so I would again recommend you get used to it.

Also. Slow is an amazing tool you will find that slow is even better than having the best healer. That being said. I have a druid as my Duo partner now and even though i cannot slow I would say it works out better than most duo's. Heals + buffs + dps from the druid. And a DS greatly increases overall dps.
 
Are you guys ignoring the change to paladins where they crit for 2x on anything and 3x on undead? Or am I completely missing something?

Do you mean in terms of soloing, or just in general fun in playing a Paladin? As someone who started a Paladin with the likelihood of mainly soloing, I have to say that relying on crits to pull your bacon out of the solo fire isn't very reliable. Sure, a 60+ crit is cool and helps, but you get a couple of 'em in the teens and things can get alarming.

I have to say, however, crit'ing on a shield bash is pretty fun.
 
I can actually level faster soloing my necro than 2-boxing warrior/cleric or Shaman/SK. 2-boxing is just too distracting, IMHO.
