I have searched around everywhere for how to take part in the beta but as yet havent had any luck. Server comes up as locked and as im in a different time zone im not sure if it has started yet or do I need to change some settings etc to help out in the beta.

Thanks for ya help and sorry for the noob question.
 
Im guessing it will be some time before we can login beta, they first have to backup the current server, then put up the new server, make sure it works... Wouldn't be much good having people beta test a game that doesnt run, lolz
 
Of course wouldnt be much good having a beta that dosent work, stating the obvious.
Main jist of my question was if there was a delay, or did we need to change host setting or something like that. Im not in a rush or impatient, was just going by this on the news page.

"The beta will begin on the 25th of September. It will run approximately a week unless it's deemed necessary to extend the duration."

Tis the 26th where I am so was just double checking :)
 
Wiz is setting things up as we speak.

His announcement at 23.00CET was something along the lines of.

See ya in 1 to 24hours from now.

So, patience :)

Sorry if seemed impatient, just was worried I had stuffed something up or not looking for the beta server in the right area. Will idle in irc for more news.
 
I wasn't implying that you were impatient. I just threw in some critisism to make you feel better about whats ahead. I know that you know these things take time, and unlike Live, there is one mastermind behind the code. His work is his magic... "Hold tight and watch the boards, cause its worth it!"

Itsn't funny how all post usually end up with someone feeling upset LOL such is the down fall of using text to explain something NEED MORE EMITCONS LOL
