Best DB partner for Druid?

I've played my druid and I really enjoy playing her, but now I'd to start duoing. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what class and race I should have as a good duo partner for my druid? I'd like a class that isn't all melee (so no warrior), but I want it to be able to be an effective tank, or have pets to tank. Thanks in advance!

Seconded. I played a beasty to 65 on live and a druid was my most effective DB.

Try an Enchanter if you're feeling brave, otherwise I'd say take the sissy option and roll a Beastlord, everybody has at least one these days :roll:

I'd say SK for a druid partner, but I'm biased since I play an SK.

I'm Running a Beastlord Main with Shaman bot atm ..

On Live was Beastlord main with Chanter bot and the a Cleric bot as a 3rd pc, then here and there would toss in Shammie and Monk as 4th and 5th ..

Was a riot though you asked about Druid combos hmm Make a Beast yer main and bot the drood for heals/DS..

Honestly, if you are looking for the tankable option I would recommend the Beastlord. Strong pet and BST has a mild slow that can help out. While the SK and Pally can tank - having no haste (cept item) and no slow will have leave them in a little trouble as you start leveling up more I would think.

If you are one who doesnt mind kiting and sticking mostly outdoors i would recommend the enchanter as previously mentioned. You get a wide variety of spells to add onto what the druid already has. Never have to worry about mind candy. get a pet that can whack away and add a little extra damage.

I've had the most fun duoing with an enchanter as a druid... but I've also had it the easiest when duoing with a warrior, so yeah.

thanks for all of your input! In the end I decided to make an SK just cuz I like the idea of having a nice tank who has a pet to add on to that. So far I LOVE having an SK, and hopefully he'll be just as lovable when he gets to my druid's level.
