I was making a point. Your bolding the select text takes my original statement out of context. I am effectively agree with you guys on balance. But I am also pointing out that the phrasing of the original post and several subsequent posts comes off just a bit elitist. Constructive feed-back is just that. Don't take disagreement so personally.

I am sorry that the two droppable Bard instruments that really give Bards an advantage at mid to low level is stepping on your high end toes.

No, you do not know how game balancing works. Once you understand this, you will see why going up several tiers to get no upgrade would be a bit irritating for a lot of bards.

Like I keep saying...I STILL USE FLUTE OF THE FRIBBIT SO I AM NERFING MYSELF.

Sorry that the need for game balancing is important to me.

If they are not changed, there is no reason to ever obtain the higher tiered instruments making instrument progression non-existent (more so then it already is).
