Bard Innate Proc and casting

So I just put some points into my bard proc AA, and it feels it doesn't proc while casting a song. I found this post and wondered if it had been fixed.?
 
Ah ok: I couldn't tell from the previous thread if bard innate procs were different or if cyzaine just forgot about removing the check from them when he did all the others. Thanks for the clarification. It is still nice to have when botting.
 
If this isn't fixable maybe Sonic Blades could be reworked into something else? Maybe Advanced Item Adept, granting another 5% -> 10% to weapon proc chance or something similar? Ehhh? *poke* *poke*
 
I <3 sonic blades and it does enough damage even with the limitation that I wouldn't change it. If I were to change it, I'd just make it proc more often or do more damage, to offset the fact that it won't always be active. But, I don't believe that's necessary.
