Ok so... I haven't logged on since November but I decided to start playing again. I went to log in and i got this message.

"EQEMu Error: You have been BANISHED from *********. To contest this decision, please contact the server's administration."

What does this mean? How do I fix it?
 
Someone with access to your account could of done something? By irc I meant #sod channel not CW's Irc.

True that, Ok... But if someone had access to my toons... even then why would that ban my IP? They wouldn't have played here...
 
I recall reading once upon a time that IPs can get accidently banned if thier similar to a IP that was banned.

Or if what Ikaa did was true... banned an entire city due to a stalker LOL.

He doesnt.

Shared IPs, which most internet providers use, can be banned before you use them. In this case though, it was another (now banned) players account that he had logged on to months ago, and as his IP was associated with it, it was banned as well. Now fixed.

I know this is an old thread but i am having the same problem and I have sent an email to the admin Zoei and haven't received a reply and would love some feed back thanks.
