Avoidance While Casting

I had to go digging for the following information:

Parry + Riposte are lost while casting. This was done to balance out the fact that a hybrid with a shield can out-mitigate a warrior, instead of just nerfing shields.

Dodge, shield block are retained while casting.

Does this still hold true? I found no mention of it in General Information ( From Wiz). I would have posted this in the tome of knowledge but for some reason my posting rights have been revoked there.

Why wouldn't it? Did you or an opponent manage to parry/riposte while casting recently?

Is stupid, warriors get the same shielding AAs and are on most of the shields hybrids are, so instead of being totally balanced, warriors with shields are now stupidly overpowered while hybrid tanking just plain sucks.

Not to mention the blocking rate with an 80ac (~160 block skill) shield is only 5%, while most warriors are going to have +12% mitigation, maybe even resilience popped.

Eff, turns out it snuck back in when some other bugs when the compiler corrupted my spell code.

I'll get it fixed ASAP.
