Until tommorrow, the bender.eqemulator.net login server is down, as a result, a new login server must be used if you want to log into WR until that time. Here is how to change your login server:
1) Run the WR patcher to make sure you have the current files, you may not run the patcher after you have changed your login server.
2) Open your eqhost.txt file in your EQ direcotry and change the following:
eqlogin4.eqemulator.net:5997
to:
lethalencounter.eqemulator.net:5997
(if this is the only item under [Login Server] then replace it, otherwise replace ALL items under [Login Server] with just that)
3) Run EQEmu using EQWindows, or using the patchme method (start > run: (eqdirectory)\eqgame.exe" patchme). *do not run eqemu through the WR patcher, since it will just revert you back ot the downed login servers*
This change is most likely temporary, but will work until the normal servers come back up.
If anyone has any questions, you can PM me anytime tonight with your problem (IRC: Hodge_Podge). Enjoy.
