Attention Euro's :)

Howdy fellow Europeans,

A friend and i have come from AB/KB to SoD hoping to get that feeling of excitement back, we both played end-game on Live and are very expreienced players (altough i understand there is still bits and pieces for us to learn on SoD here), though as i've advanced through the levels so far i have noticed the majority of the playerbase is American or at least in an timezone other than GMT/CET, my friend and i are calling out to other European players on the server to get a head count if possible as we're hopefully going to go ahead with creating our own Euro guild here (as i'm sure there are no actual European guilds on the server as of now). This imo will help not just the European players band together to achieve something on SoD but i feel it will also increase the population a tad during those bleak hours :)

So basically if you're a Euro player, can you holler here, and preferably post your lvl so we can get an idea of how much spread there is, thanks in advance peeps :D

P.S i know this might be in the wrong forum section, just thought with this kinda post we'd get the most feedback in the Discussion Forum.

There are plenty of European players here. Always has been. You shouldn't have any trouble.

There's a "Guild Discussion" forum on here, I'm pretty sure I saw at least 1 or 2 Euro guilds there :)
Probably your best place to start!

Myself and Eleonor were from Antonius Bayle..

(Kjia + Archere) say hi if you remember us at all

sorry don't recall those names, i quit just after the server merge oh AB/KB so i don't know many AB players, but thanks for the heads up, i was so sure that i seen one guild that mentioned Euro, but didn't raid Euro times, i'll check again :)

The fellow of Smickers being me, feel free to send either me or him a tell (Drete or Vladimoir). :)

Phoenix Rising has a ton of Euro's, as evidenced by the gratuitous amounts of bad english in guild chat.

Can't blame 'em though, even if I tried, I couldn't speak a lick of their native tongue.

indeed we have a big player based on Euro players and few usa early timers.

we got ppl from Holland , sweden , finland , slovakia , german , england , france , Norway ( Krym where are you ? ) spain and not the forget the russian ppl =) .

On the server i meet ppl from denmark also.

Infact there was 2 euro guilds at SoD before until FotA ( Fury of the Ancients ) dispanded and joined another guild.

But yea... (bad English all the way!) :D

Our native english speakers do understand us tho. Well, sometimes :D

Maybe you but not Tinkaa.
Tinkaa however can also communicate in german and Gea could translate....would make it easier to understand Tinkaa

*hides away from Tink*

i can speak from personal expeiance that tinkaa's english is better than mine and i dont speak another language...<3

turns out i'm approaching lvl 50 now and i'll be 65 in a couple of weeks, i'm a beastlord and my friend is a monk, PR doesn't need either so we're screwed when we hit 65 T_T

We have a few Germans in our guild ... when they get throwing German at each other in Team Speak my brain starts to hurt ... but they're really great people. Hmmm like most people in IRC, I wonder if they are talking bad about me in another language ... *ponder*

yeah i remember TCR :O

i was in Midwinter myself, it was a choatic server considering the population was so small

I come from Kane Bayle too, and was also in Midwinter, at first playing a bard called Vilja and later on a monk called (surprise!) Drete. After that, I took over my friend's mage, Enharjaren, when he quit for WoW, and used to 3/4-box either of Drete, Vilja, Starkol, Skogsoedlan and Enharjaren. And yeah, I do remember IV/TCR, the fun thing being that a lot of old Midwinter and TCR merged into Darkwind on Antonius Bayle (although they already existed, so many joined that it essentially became a new guild). :p
