weird, it is set as regen. probably so it doesn't scale with heal inc

It could be. Same reason cleric hot doesn't stack with one druid hot. A long time ago they only wanted to dedicate two bard slots to hots and I doubt that has changed.
 
cleric and druid ancient hots dont stack because they are both slot 1. more accurately, druid relic hot stacks with all others because it is slot 2
 
Yes, and there are only two slots. So there would be stacking issues with Ashpyre if it went into hot slot 1 or 2 (all I was saying).
 
It could functionally be a HoT (focuses, crits) while still being in the normal buff bar.

I think that's what he was getting at. At some point?

Also, I thought we wanted to dedicate one bard slot to HoTs under the reasoning that, since the client crashes at 6 songs in the bard box, having 4 slots open to actual Bard songs allows room for two Bards to be fully effective while maintaining the dedicated HoT space. Kind of pissed knowing that a raid would have to make a choice between the second Bard being as effective as possible or any Druid being as effective as possible just to avoid crashes when the whole point of the standards was to avoid that exact sort of situation.

Unless I'm misremembering and it crashes at 7?
