Look, all I asked was if anyone on SoD had a myspace...simple. I didnt intend on being swarmed with points and facts I can see in any online newspaper article. Sorry I asked, sorry I plagued you -- case closed.

How dare you all put forward your views and discuss a topic on a forum - SHAME ON YOU ALL

When people need to know about me I can link my myspace. It only includes friends that I know in person or very well over the internet, pictures of me and my girlfriend, and my interests. I try to keep it relatively low-key and basic unlike a lot of the more annoying profiles people have.

Used myspace to keep track of military buddies. Most have fallen off the radar now.
Because of a highschool friends profile I met my current GF. 1 1/2 years and still going strong.
Wish I could teach her to make her profile low key. Its geting out of hand.
I agree that crazy people and porn sites are taking over Myspace which is why I deleted mine.
its both a good and bad idea. Started out with good intentions and ended up bad like everything else.

I kind of use myspace... I say this because I know far too many people that use it, and I have a profile that I check once every two weeks hehe. What I really dislike about myspace are those bulletins. I know people who send out like 300 a day, and it drives me mad. But I love distorting the occassional one and sending it back ruining its original intent hehe. Though I do agree, for people you want to keep in contact with, its a great forum. Plus I have kept track of some of my favorite bands through there. But I don't really say much to people I don't know through myspace unless there is something particularly interesting about the profile. Use it if you like it, don't if you don't. Just that simple. I did however add myself to the SOD group hehe.

*Edit*: Ok I just read that msnbc news article... and after reading the entire, I'll agree it can show bad press and etc... but I was enraged by the following quote " Would they have been more aware of David's capacity for violence if they had seen the pictures on his blog?[In reference to a prior comment about pictures of him hunting, and a few of him in the middle of gutting (or cleaning) a deer]" Capacity for violence simply because he hunts? Thanks writer for stating that everyone who hunts is stark raving mad and enjoys killing parents... Of course this is not what he stated exactly, but his implications are downright offensive to responsible hunters.

I keep my myspace mostly to talk to my friends, note the word mostly. I do however, practice a lot of html coding on my profile (I like to design templates and the like). Not to mention, I dont have a life. I will agree though that myspace is getting out of hand lately, and sorry for snapping out about the discussion. The one thing about myspace that tends to piss me off is when there's a person who has 36000000 friends and they just add you for no reason, like you're just another digit on their counter. So yeah... whatever.

Lmao, you look like Andrew W.K.

On a side note, I'd join the SoD group but that'd be about as cool as putting up a Dungeons and Dragons background for all to see.

I felt compelled to create a simple myspace page to get in touch with old high school friends that I had not seen since I left that village back in '96 or so. I feel dirty....ah well I have done worse things...

As a side note, I get an invalid group id when trying to join the group...

I cant believe that people actually get mad over some bs stuff, who cares if myspace is there, if ppl like to show themselves to others is up to them.
Also the person that made this post should have known better that this was going to happen.
Even though we as people always like to comment on everything, All i can say is
JUST LET THINGS BE THE WAY THEY ARE And stop discussing stuff that never end, everyone has a diffrent opinion and will never change even if u hammer them.

Peace is the word of silence.
