Saleex is a 65 BL so I'm guessing this is an alt.
Pre 65-
Greenbark Gloves - these things are amazing in every way and all rangers should have them on them at all times.
Post 65-
Amice of the Golden Dawn - very nice clicky that you should use when youre in an outdoor zone.
Standard of the Vah Sraen - amazing lifetap
Tightly Braided Hair - Halloween Event Quest
And just get every gate neck/item you can get your hands on.
Arrowmaking Rig - this is an easyish item to get that summons arrows. the only problem is the arrows are not very good. With the new Fletching in the game I now only use the best arrows in the game. They are around 700 pp for 50 stacks. I guess that could be too much for new rangers. However making arrows that are over 3 dmg cant be too hard.
what aa to get first on a ranger
Perhaps I feel this way because I'm a huge nerd with no life, but I feel AA's are so easy to get that you can get them in any order and you will be ok. Some small things to follow:
Get Run speed 3 before anything else because running fast in the most important thing in the game.
Combat Fury / Fury of the Ages, Crippling Strike, Archery Mastery, Returning Shot, Deadeye, Pinning Shot will all help you be better at using a bow. If that is what you want to do go those first.
There is a lot better bows in the game you can buy then when i was a fresh 65 ranger. I use to melee a lot because i felt that my dps with the bow i could get my hands on wasn't very good.
When I was getting AA's I just got everything that would get me more dps first, then I got resisted because I started to raid, then I moved on to defense aa's. Not sure this is the best way to go but it worked for me.
I helped make
http://wiki.shardsofdalaya.com/index.php/Bow_Progression so look at that and I hope it helps.
My name is Kedrin in the game if you have any other questions. I am normally on because I have no life.
