Well i know i'm gonna get flamed by a bunch of enchanters or druids but..... I have something to say about the HP mechanics in charming. From the information I have gathered I have discovered something that is not really an exploit but isn't really fair unless it has something to do with RPing. I may sound confusing but bare with me now here is my complaint ;(
As a necromancer I enjoy killing undead things and usually soloing them in relatively empty zones full of undead. In these zones the undead are usually in 2+ mobs where pulling one would most likely pull another. Of course I had the choice of using a lull line spell but decided that charming one and killing the other was a better idea.
For Example in Kaladim the 2 sentries posted in the front. I charm one and send it to kill the other that is running to slay me. Of course with the aids of my dots i kill the agressive sentry and my charmed one is down to 30%. Suddenly it breaks my charm and starts running at me and is at 100% hp. I root it and charm it again and it is back to 30%. I thought this was fair so I paid it no mind and dealt with it for awhile.
Then one day I learned that this is different for enchanters and druids. When they charm a creature and it drops down to lets say 30% hp, they break the charm to reset the hp to 100% and then recharm it to have a pet still at 100%.
If this is true, I dont want you guys to change the druid and enchanter charm so that it is like us necromancers, but spending time waiting for my pet to heal or using my own vitality to bring it back up doesnt seem to be fair since druids do not need to reheal their charmlings.
Unless the difference is because necromancers are smelly and like to touch dead people alright, but Unlike my gathering shadows post, I think this is something that would affect a lot of necros in their exping since it greatly impacts their soloing which necros are born to do.
I would like to say I don't really have a problem with this but.... I do
Thanks peeps.....
Now time for people to flame me
