Animism shaman questline

Zone: The Mountain Crags of Tarhyl AKA Tipt, Treacherous Crags
NPC: Ryhajin Kajek (the Shaman Guildmaster)
Quest: Animism (http://wiki.shardsofdalaya.com/index.php/Animism_-_Part_I)

I am trying to start this quest by saying Hail to the NPC but nothing happens, no response. I am a Shaman and the NPC cons indifferent to me. I also made a level 1 Vah Shir Shaman that cons warmly to the NPC but Hailing the NPC does nothing for this character as well.
Posting here because I think the NPC may be bugged or maybe I am missing some information on how to correctly start this quest. I can right-click the NPC to train my skills since it is the guildmaster, and in the Main Chat window it shows the NPC name as "Ryhajin Kajek0", with a zero at the end, which seems abnormal.
 
OK so first off, this is how bug reports are done! I should fame you just for that. :)

I probably broke this, I will try to get it fixed up in the next day or 2.
 
Just an update, I have this converted but need to test it. Hoping to push it live this evening.
 
Thank you for looking into this! I tried the quest and it worked now. I was able to turn in all the items I had collected for the quest and complete all 6 parts of the quest and finish it.
