Amazing welcome by the community. Thank you.

Name nerfs? LOL! If your name is not just aggressively giving the naming policy the bird it doesn't happen. There are at least 3 characters on this server that yank their name and class directly from the cast of ST: DS9 and they aren't uncommon players... Not that I am complaining, it doesn't break my immersion if I grouped with Buttstabber DaGreat or Zaps McNukington.

RIP Glade Portsinpantz

Pretty much any name that breaks the policy can get nerfed. The thing is, staff has to recognize it first, so if you copy a character from media staff is not familiar with, you can get away with it.

I saw Leesyn in game and immediately assumed it was a reference (as did someone else playing with me), especially since a monk, but I could see it being a mixup too.

Side note: checked out your guy on fomelo, you may want to look at the bare fist damage table on the wiki for monks and beastlords (http://wiki.shardsofdalaya.com/index.php/Bare-Fist_Damage_Table). The charm of the brute gives +15 h2h skill which equates to +3 damage to your hands when not using weapons. That bonus caps at +25 h2h skill for +5 damage. Long story short, I believe your fists are currently significantly better than the h2h weapons you have equipped, and so you may want to unequip those.

If you want yet more sweet boosts to that, look for some gloves that give +dmg of some sort. Specifically, you may want to look into doing the monk starfall quest soon, +2 fire dmg will be pretty sweet and make your fists even more betterer than those weapons you have (http://wiki.shardsofdalaya.com/index.php/Fistwraps_of_the_Flame).

I'm not sure that overcap HtH gives the flat weapon damage unless you're 65; other skills like Evocation that do special things only work once you've hit 250 or whatever the final cap is. I'm not sure if dual wield, double attack, and HtH do or not. Plus the HtH bonus is being reverted once the monk changes happen in the near future.

Hmm, well then I have been misinformed. Does anyone know for sure how the hth works? I've been working under that assumption since I read something along those lines from a post somewhere, but it's hard to find the info, and I didn't see anything on the wiki. If someone is sure of how it works I'd add it in there.

Also where did you read that about the changes to how it will work in the near future? I'm surprised if they're just blanking it, since that seems like it affects beastlords pretty heavily as well (and as an aspiring beastlord, I'm concerned!).

I would guess they only work at level 65. This is simply a guess without testing anything at all. Doing work, or anything at all is hard.
