Alternative CHA buff for Focus of Soul

Bernat

Dalayan Beginner
The only CHA buff for shammies past lvl 60 is Focus of Soul. Since FoSoul doesn't stack with Ward of Nature (name may be wrong, talking about the dru spell that gives mana regen), could we get a new spell that only gives charisma, please?

Thanks.

I'm asking for an upgrade to that spell.

At 59 you get Unfailing Reverence, which is a target spell. At 60 we get Focus of Spirit and Khura's Focusing, which gives AC, HPs, ATK and Cha, if I recall correctly.

Now, at 65 there is Focus of Soul and Relic: Ancestral Focus, but no upgrade for Unfailing Reverence. I think we should have the option to buff other characters' charisma (and ours) with our best cha buff and still let them have Druid's Ward of Nature line at the same time.

Now that you mention it, an upgrade would be nice, and also make it a group buff instead of single target buff.

Yes, I just logged in again to write it, otherwise it would be a pain in raids to cast the CHA buff to all those who prefer WoN over FoS.

I agree, an additional CHA buff does sound like it would be reasonable and not at all unbalancing. At the very least, a group version of unfailing reverence would be nice, so you don't have to drop back to a low 50s CHA buff if you need to buff a dozen people or whatever.

The group version of Unfailing Reverence I think is Khura's Focusing. The difference between the lvl 59 Shm single target Cha buff (Unfailing Reverence, 55 Cha buff) and the lvl 58 group Cha buff (Talisman of the Serpent, 50 Cha buff) is barely 10%.

I was looking for a 70 Cha group buff (lvl 64-65?). Which would be a 40% upgrade to the lvl 58 group buff. I do agree, though, that this wouldn't be unbalancing in any way.

EDIT: added spell names.

Hit Points + CHA = Focus (1 buff slot)

Mana Regen + CHA = Ward of Nature & CHA Buff (2 buff slots)

More CHA with Focus I belive, but less mana regen and one less buff slot to occupy. The tradeoff seems fair.

And Kas is right, the group version of CHA is Talisman of the Serpent.

Talisman of the Serpent could be taken as the Group version of Unfailing Reverence (even though ToS gives 5 less Cha).

But there is no Cha group buff beyond 58. No single Cha stat buff beyond 59. As there are for the rest of the stats.

This spell would be much appreciated by low end character who don't have their stats maxxed :(.

I promise BIM isn't behind this...
