Alligators should drop more teeth

they have a mouth full of teeth and drop rate is really sad
doesn't seem to be just a bad run with the RNG
100+ kills drops rate seems to be under 5%

For a RP explaination one could argue that in the process of beating the gator to death you busted all of his teeth and only 5% of the time does one or two survive the blows to the head. :)
 
Even assuming you are breaking all his damn teeth, it IS hard to get an alligator tooth. I've leveled up alot of characters in Stingers/Greenmist. I usually see one tooth per character in the time I spend fighting there. Going from 1 to 10 and seeing only one tooth is a wee bit off.
 
well drop rate seems to be around 17-18%, 35 teeth over 200 kills
went on more than 1 streak of 0 drops in a dozen kills tho
