Advice for Gearing

Hello im returning to sod with some friends and family and we are currently going to be running the following make up:

SK - fangrug
Cleric - Fano
Druid - laursy
Necro - zuldan
Warrior - dont have name with me

Any Advice for gearing would be greatly appreciated. The SK will be our primary tank and has an adament pincer and shell for its sword/board combo.

We will be AAing at 55 and are looking to be top geared as we dont anticipate leveling these characters to max.

Money wont really be an issue as we can farm as much as we need to get the gear once we get there if we cannot afford it before then.
 
My 55s are alright
Thib is a Pally
Ibren is a Duid
Not sure is this helps or if you want a list of best in slot for every class you listed.
 
That will help a bunch im sure! Best in slot list wouldn't be bad but i dont know if there is a list thats easily available if there is id like to look at it as well. Kedrin do you happen to know any good necros that are 55 twinks or any intel casters really that i could look at for gear ideas?

Melhdur - Pally
Melport - Druid

Some more perma 55s from a friend:
Xiuw - Wizard
Iloa - Druid
Baars - Shammy

Generally there are not much ~55 Int casters around. (which can be annoying at Nalia :) )

We had something like a list some years ago,SoD rankings,you could sort/filter for level,gear,
etc,sadly its not working anymore,was nice to get some gear ideas.
There is no item list like the old allakhazam where you could sort for hp/mana/etc.

My wizard named Suspain has some of the better 55 twink caster items, although some of them are pretty hard to find for sale.

The best way to build a 55 caster twink is to make a list of the focus effects you want to have, and then use the wiki to see what BoE items in the game offer those, and which slot options you have for each and juggle things around until you find a setup that lets you have everything you want. And then fill in other slots with lots of mana, flowing thought, etc.

At 55 lock one of the best places is lasanth and there is a guide on wiki outlining how to pull it off. I Don't think these two are top geared but if you get there I'm sure you will know exactly what you need for upgrades. Also you need to consider the level 52 adept quest for the quest reward if you are looking for the best gears at 55.

The characters naoo linked are pretty good examples. They are 65 but it looks like most of the gear can be used by 55s. I'm wondering if something similar to a top 5 list for 55s exists somewhere.

A special note that http://wiki.shardsofdalaya.com/index.php/Shield_of_Freeport is amazing for any healer. 5% heal crit is ridiculously strong. I am not sure, but I believe it's the only buyable heal crit available in the game outside from the 225k+ charms.

Other advice when you're 55 is look for people in ooc who are doing various treasure maps. That gear is pretty good (especially for focus effects) and free! Often it's enjoyable for 65s to have company when slogging through treasure maps.

You can also get the quest neck from Murk it has the healing crit effect that is on the shield of Freeport. Keep in mind these do not stack.

My sk, Keeto, is 65, but a bunch of his gear is still boe usable by a 55. Dragov has some better gear in slots, but also costs considerably more too.

And I'll just echo that Shield of Freeport for healers = win. And the Ring of Supreme Vengeance quest that naoo linked to above is excellent, and the Newport Ring quest still holds up well too

My cleric Razzo is decent. You could expand on mana by picking the DM chain/plate with the most mana on it as it varies, but I liked going all Deepmetal Plate for the HP+AC. Baars / Iloa / Xiuw is always good to look at as he stacks mods, for example I think Xiuw has 20 FT which is amazing for a 55.

My other 3 55s are all DPS, check my signature for the links to fomelo. Most of their gear is bought, some is war loot which can be very good - Healing Increment 6 cap on my BST for example, and a pet summon for my BRD.
 
Wanted to say thanks for all the references and keep them coming this has and is extremely helpful. If there are any key pieces of purchased gear i should be getting also if you guys have/know the price range and/or a seller that is welling to for a fair price please let me know.

Currently my big two [Edit: guess two turned into three] that im looking for are:
Shroud of the battlemaster (6k ? thats a number someone through out when i asked not sure if its accurate)
Mask of Meddling (2-3k? same as above)
Goblin-golem band (2k same as above)

I have a couple of perma 55 toons whose fomelos might help:

Sural - Not terrible, not as fleshed out as some of the other tanks that have been listed. I did buy him a Shroud of the Battlemaster, but it was about 18 months ago. I paid 10K I think, that was the going price back then. Not sure what the economy is like now. It's a great piece, though. Lots of haste, decent AC, and some stats.

Roxy - perhaps the better of the two, although I am still not satisfied with her. I really want to get her the neck from the Pounders adept. Must have killed Pounders ten times, but crappy dice. But 4K mana at level 55 ain't too bad.

These two arent the best perma 55 toons you'll see, but they can crush their way through most of the typical 55 content fairly smoothly. (Harthuks, Sorc's Maze, Lasanth, Deep Paw, Freeport, etc). Hope this helps.
 
Necro twink other than like 2-3 items everything is level 50-55 boe stuff. Was just about the best set you could buy a few years back and I doubt it's changed very much. 6k mana and 10/10 ft/recovery is prolly very easy to do now-a-days with a few more zones dropping stuff.
 
I'd chime in with warrior aggro weapons but it seems like they covered it. Some of the new stuff is just crazy. Get a pristine hammer of ancient visions though, it did me really well.
