Adventuring Band XP, level vs. AA

My group of friends and I decided last night to work on a few AAs for all of us instead of continuing to level. (We are now level ~55.) However, when we turned AA xp to 100%, we found that Band xp continued to be applied to our leveling xp instead of our AA xp.

So, the questions are as follows:

1. Pre level 65, is band xp supposed to go to "leveling" instead of AAs...despite AA xp being set to 100%? (If not, petition in game or report in forums.)

2. At level 65, does band xp get applied to AAs? (Does one have to wait until they are "1 xp from level 66" before this begins to take effect?)

It sounds like you all failed because exp bands definitely apply it to aa if you have it set.

So the answers are
1)no
2)yes (no)

Well it sounds like you did not use the cmd explock 0|1 so the exp will go to either straight xp or AA.
However I have not tried to send it to AA ever so I have no first hand knowledge on it.
I do have a friend that claims his adv band xp is going to his AA so in theory it should as long as you have the AA set to some percent.
Personally I believe you should go either 100percent AA or 100percent Level. Maybe if you have it set to less then 100percent it bugs out.

explock turns off exp completely, it does not move it from levels to AAs. The slider bar in your AA window does this.
my alt is currently getting AAs from an adv band, but he's also 65, so YMMV

When your char logs in, if AA exp is on at all, some of it will go to AAs. If AAs are turned off completely, it goes to exp. Being level 65 does not make it automatically go to AAs.

The issue we experienced on the first night seems to have corrected itself following all char.'s logging out and logging back in for other nights of play.

I use exp to AA's. When I set it to 50/50, it works fine. I set it to 90/10 before, worked fine. Even 100% to AA and it worked fine. It's possible you either got a glitch or maybe you did something that you are not aware of that effected your exp.

Usually refreshing, or camping out then sign back in works to correct small bugs like that. If you have tried every other option and you still get the glitch, try uninstalling eq then restart pc, then reinstall and then patch and log in. Maybe a file in your eq got a minor corruption. Nothing that would prevent you from playing, but enough to be annoying with your exp pool.
