Adventure bands bugged?

I have noticed when i am doing adventure bands, no matter how much exp my char gets, it only levels once. A level 5 char got 11k from a full night adventure banded with a level 65. The message when i logged in said the 11k (rounded down due to not remembering the other three numbers). I went from 5 to 6. I know that is not one level worth of exp to a level 6, or none of us would even level past lowbie stages. Is this a bug? I know a few months ago doing the same thing with my wizzy it worked but now doesn't with my shaman.
 
If wiz has fixed it two or three times before now, and it still does it, does it still count as a fix? or maybe something keeps rebreaking it?
 
sometimes rolls back like you guys try something new, it fails and causes huge errors, so you roll back to the last stable build, which also excludes some fixes that worked? or roll back as in the server has gained consciousness and is being fussy?
 
I thought that if you were not within 10 levels you could not get adventure band exp in the first place.
 
The last. And I don't think you should be able to gain exp if you're not within 10 levels now that you mention it. :what:
 
that was removed... no lvl req for adv bands unless the highest lvl char is getting exp. just like in a regular group :keke:
 
Then it is bugged in that if you are banded with a higher level it takes the right xp from the highest character, but the alt only receives 1/3rd of the exp taken from the main.
