Wish I'd have been able to make it. I'm glad he finally died, can someone post screenshots of the items that dropped off him?
 
It was pathetic actually because he was toned down so much that half the people who attended this raid was able to kill him... We couldn't even do it with 28+ and it was finish with 21....

I don't really see this as a big accomplishment anymore.
 
Yeah, he was much easier when we finally took him down, as a cleric I only had to Superior heal and CH the MT once and I tossed a CH in to another tank just because I had plenty of mana to spare. I believe the other cleric on the MT only tossed a handfull of Superior heals, himself. However, I don't think it's too easy, we did wipe out half the people in the process of killing him and he shouldn't require more than 3 full groups.
 
He became doable for us because of slow landing very early, thats what i think at least :)

It wasn't just the slow, he had all his resists modified. First two times he was attempted people were complaining so much about not being able to get spells to land that they didn't believe he was tashed even though he most definatly was. GMs went and changed the whole encounter to make it easier.
 
sorry for delays, let me explain a couple of things, I like the way it is now, still challenging, we did it with 21 people but had the right tactics for it also I bumped the lvl for the raid, everyone was 35+ unlike the past 3 raids we failed i was taking people lvls 32. For those who argue that has been toned too easy, I must say that you were not there, because we still ended up losing like half the raid. Previously we tryed with 35 people, 11 of them healers and lots of DPS and even thou the lvls where low the mob was way too hard for its purpose, we were using tactics compared to planar progression bosses in live. This adepts are not for planar progression, they are for newbies to have some fun and gear up, I think we all had fun and take in consideration that most of the people who attend to this raids are still wearing chain mail gear and empty slots. After failing my first 3 raids on This mob It was VERY hard to get people for the 4th and succesful attempt(lots of people gave up on it). I was really happy after we defeated this beast when cleric that won the tunic replaced a silk robe with it, he earned it because he did a hell of a job. And i believe that is the purpose of Adepts. (sorry about the screenies I will get some more today when we raid it again.
 
His resists weren't changed at all, I just reduced what he hit for a bit and how much his DoT does per tick. He was supposed to be killable with 3 groups, not 30 people. If you want a serious adept challenge, go play with Traekoth.
 
Aww, your raiding it again today? That means I'm missing this one cause of class. I'll get annoyed if it drops any good caster gear, not really but I'll be sad.
 
yup took him down again and dropped a nice tank cloak and the same haste belt, will kill it one more time and move up to the next adept i think is lvl 50... so highest lvl will be 47, not sure on that thou will check tonight and post images tonight. If you want to check out the cloak, Abel won it so look up his wanelo. Next thing you know it we will be playing with Traekoth soon :)

Did it work. did my endless postings of stupid have forced the gm to bring the server up. I'm i truly the one to thank for the server to be back up. Will see in the next 5min where my stupidity has no boundary and may exceed the knowledge of chimp?
