Addition to Jewelcrafting --Bracelets--

Was there ever any discussion to allow jewelcrafters to create Bracelets as an alternative to player crafted armour (plate/chain/leather/cloth) or NPC loot for the WRIST slots?

Would be great if this were possible.

I've seen hundreds of posts for people to buff JC. Over the 5 years I've off and on Played. They've never been answered.
Slots for augs have been compaired vs the ability to get easy jewelry from Tmaps quests named.

JC
Earx2 , Face , Neck, Ringsx2 sometimes Wrist thats 5-7 Aug slots (This is for every one though)
JC Does get Aug slot for the Charm but yeah MQ gems is 3 also so they cancle each other out

OThers
Helm,Face,Neck,Sholders,Back,Wristx2,Legs,Belt,Chest 9-10 Slots per armor type.

Jc's popular pieces are the Black diamond earings and Diamond Resists stuff. And thats only a select group would go for those. Black Diamond for twinking and Others for people trying to get resists up for non Ringer raids (LOL). Other Armor is included in tier progression as a suppliment for T1-T3 raiding gear.

Jayla Quest is an earing,Bounty Quest is an earing, Newport Insignia ring, Tmaps have 1 earing and 2 rings that are easily obtainable ond on par with some JC rings. Lots of one size fits all rings are out there and make JC very much not worth it.

I personaly have a lot of fun with JC becuase it does give you the must customization with the slots you have available and making custom jewelry for new players is fun but not really worth it plat wise. You can make +10hp mana earings and pending on who you craft for they might want int or stam or dex ect so its always fun to customize things like that.

My suggestion to fix JC if it hasn't been done already is give them some more high end options, and or More customization.

Higher Tier of Gems (Drops from 65+ exp zones and raids)
Make higher tier jewelry with resists.
Customization
Give focus efects to JC some how.
extra augslot for crafted Jewelry.
Price drop
this is retarded xpensive to level if you didn't farm the gems yourself.

I always thought crafted bracers (or summoned by mages) with a variety of small procs and no stats/very minimal stats would be a cool avenue for gear expansion while you're leveling up. Kind of like intro to later gear items.

I'm against the idea of extending jewelcrafting to bracelets. That's tailoring/smithing territory. My tradeskill working time is going to baking/fishing/pottery at the moment, but I'm certainly not against the idea of scaling down current jewelcrafting to like 225 and then adding a more involved and more powerful 226-250 range.

It would have to be expensive and require farming, though. Making it easier to buy your way to Tier 5 isn't on the tradeskill agenda.

That's why I like the idea of jewelcrafted wrists with minor procs associated with the gems used but no other stats so you have the option of a wrist with stats from another trade or a minor spell proc (or one of each). I should say I think incorporating quest gems and thus adding to the competition for them is not a great idea though (Unless it was done like the pofrost rings where the end result is no drop so you'd be making them primarily for guild members etc).

Don't make them [NODROP], make them [LORE]. Actually, [LORE] augs (cause everybody likes augs, and JC is short a tier compared to other tradeskills) that require [NODROP] gems to be made.

Introducing the raid game as a SOURCE for high end tradeskill combines with droppable results - am I the only one here who thinks this might be an interesting idea?

Yeah high tier nerd guilds need more incentive to farm out lower tier content.
