Hello everyone.
I've made a new Wiki page for acronyms, i.e. "do you want FoE" or "KEI at steps" or "who's the ML?" I find myself confused by certain acronyms that I don't recognize. All of the old timers and high end players know these acronyms, but a lot of the beginners, intermediate or casual players are no doubt occasionally confused. It would be great to have a Wiki page available for reference whenever a player encounters an unrecognized acronym, and I'd like to have a link to it on the main page, perhaps somewhere next to Commands, Controls and Hotkeys.
I made the page at http://wiki.shardsofdalaya.com/index.php/Acronyms, or you can find it by searching for "acronyms" in the Wiki search box.
Can I ask that (1) all knowledgeable players with Wiki editing privileges start piling on the acronyms that they know and (2) all beginner or casual players post comments here to help me prove that this would be a helpful Wiki page. If both occur, I think the Wiki moderators would allow the page to exist and to be easily visible. Also, I got some feedback that common MMORPG parlance such as "lol" or "rofl" should NOT be included, but I think they should -- I still see some of these that I don't recognize. Perhaps some comments here in favor of including common parlance would change the moderators' mind on this matter.
Thanks.
