Next sunday the 29th of Janurry there Will be a Raid on Aarielly a 64 Wizard, The max engage is level 31, any level buffs are aloud, she will be dropping uber loot plz post here or go to gaeelornie.tripod.com and send me an Email from there! plz be on time!

No, its just something fun that she agreed to, Haisei has been offline for a bit anyways and I dont think she is having issues with her tiailoring! Now come on PPL sign up!
 
LOL, you better get a lot because unless she has like base 1200hp, she will just PBAE every meleer to death in about 2 fast casts. Then you will just have a few casters that can't land. But in any event, Id like to watch. :D

Is she going to have no buffs at all?
 
i'm not sure i understand the "max engage" thing. does that mean that a bunch of level 31s are going to be attacking a 64 wizard? isnt that suicide?

what the hell, lets make it 33.

The logic behind this level is that 6 to 10 low 30s mobs can kill aarielly if they get a few lucky interupts.

I figure I'll give 4 chances to take down aari, and reschedule with a higher level limit if she is still standing.

As for drops, I have a few ideas, but need to run some by a GM to see if they are acceptable. I will try to make the drops as worth while as possible.
 
we are gonna try to get a GM to help us with resists so eveyone will be able to land there spells, as far as 31-33 that doesnt matter, 20 and above will be ready to help us with this so come one comeall lets pwn this Wizzy
 
I actualy cannot see how this would fail, assuming 20 level 33's show up.

It's not unlike a mordern day raid. Aarielly is not as powerfull as a level 65 mob, probably closer (hp and ac) to a level 55 wizard mob.

20 level 33's will kick her ass ;p

Torgar - lvl 29 Barbarian Shaman is in... Probably be at least 32 by Sunday...

What time is this going on? Can you give the time in a format like "8pm EST" or "5pm GMT" or somethign like that :)
 
This should be starting at 9 pm EST (2 am GMT). The location is up to Josiah, but I'll make a suggestion of the newport arena.
 
SoD has a selection of raid-like foes from level 1 up which drop raid-like loot scaled for the encounter - that is, a level 8 adept like the Beetle Queen drops gear that would be amazing for a level 8, but probably not that impressive by level 20.

To make sure these adepts are a challenge, they have an "engage level". They must con red to you before you can attack them. For the Beetle Queen in Centaur Hills, for example, level 8 is the highest level you can be and still have her con red.

You also cannot have buffs from a character higher than the engage level or you will be prevented from attacking or using beneficial spells on anyone fighting the adept.

Note: for the purposes of this raid against a player character, "engage level" is being used somewhat tongue-in-cheek.
