A question about when I start leaving my stuff in my corpse

Hello, this is the first time im posting here :) It looks like a great eq free server, and im thinking in playing here, but I have only one question for any player/gamemaster: when I played ruins of Kunark, the first expansion, whenever I died, I left all my items except the newbie ones in my corpse, even at lvl 1! So I was wondering, when do I drop my stuff when I die? Always or never, or at a certain lvl? I just need this final piece of information to confirm that im going to play EverQuest again.

You never leave items on a corpse. At level 10, you gain an experience debt when you die (which must simply be payed off before you continue to level). You pay it off by gaining experience.
 
I am only lvl 17, but i have been told that you never drop any items after a death at any lvl, you do however accuire an exp debt that must be paid off.

Interesting! Tell me if you find a webpage with a link for it, I dont wanna install Kazaa just for eq...
 
There is actually a legitimate way to download the everquest Trilogy.

EverQuest Trilogy

This is a HUGE download (1.8GB).

There is also another download, EQFULL. Not sure exactly what that one is though.

I downloaded the 434 MB download will see what it is!
 
Thank you very much! But how can I tell if the file is safe/working? I dont wanna download it and after 10 hours of doing so realize its a virus or doesnt work! :mad:
 
Well, the link goes to SONY's ftp site, so I'm pretty sure it's not a virus :p
and then you can download this zip file : patch.zip, I don't know if it's legal to host those files tho so if anyone knows let me know and I remove em. It's just all the different patch.exe files ziped so you can download ALL expansions from sony, tho I don't think luclin can be downloaded that way, it's special.
 
There is a way to get the individual zone files for ALL expansions through the patcher, but I don't recall how to do it.
 
I just checked them all, and after the first time telling me that expansion such and such wasn't installed correctly, it didn't say it again.
 
It worked! I installed it, and right now im patching, although it says that Planes of Power isnt properly installed... what should I do about it?
 
Hello everyone. ok i have a question...
i've downloaded the 1.8G one, and later i've downloaded the one called "patch.exe" that someone posted, so is that ok? what the prosidure to install it? if you can help me, thanks a lot :)
