Hey guys,
The new Ikisith Bard spell that is a upgrade of the single target dd spell line Brusco's (Bruco's Belligerent Bellow) is so far the only spell to date that requires the bard to be using a instrument. The mana cost vs efficiency of the spell alone is enough to make it a rarely used spell or something that cant be chained. Is this intended to require it as the only spell to wield an instrument with useage and if so could this be looked at, as is it makes very little sense.
Thanks everyone,

It's the largest burst dps option for a bard aside from Denon's Requiem on multiple targets.

To be honest, it's worse than denon's unless you have the instrument to support it just because you lose ~2 ticks of melee. On a single target my bards denon's requiem finale does 3.2k. Looking at parses for a t10 raid boss last night, my bard was doing 139.83 dps just from melee(in s4), not including procs, which was about another 30 dps (it's hard to get an exact number because my parser smashes bellows and procs together). 3200 + 2040 (170*12) comes out to ~5200 damage. Knowing that nifera's does ~5k with a ganzese flute, which is a 2.5 mod and the best flute until ikisith as well as having one and a half tomes on my bard It'd be less actual damage to swap it in except during caster curse, and even then it'd less than 1400 more total damage at the cost of a large chunk of mana (400 mana, two level 63 bellows, or 4 level 55 bellows, both way more overall damage).

Really though, I like the idea behind the spell a lot. To make it good all that needs done is it's mana cost reduced and another flute needs to be added along the tiers to support it's use. Because as it stands now the only upgrade that exists to ganzese flute is a drop off a t10 raid boss 98% of the server doesn't even know exists.

TL;DR reduce it's mana cost and put a flute at pofrost tier.
