Doesnt wizards get any better nukes then that? Sure if they are low mana low aggro fast recast maybe good. Ok 1900DD is pretty ok but expected a 2200 ish nuke or sumtin
 
61-65 spells are not super-duper-ultra upgrades. WIzards get Tarhyl's Embrace as a relic, which is a huge nuke.

That can be said for most classes. 61-65 characters are not as powerful here as on live, that's just how it is.

Rangers are in turn for getting more spells though.

while i do agree with you, i would say that rangers aren't the only ones. SK's and beastlord in particular have some of their excellent 61-65 spells taken out. Eg. Infusion of Spirit and Zevfeer's Bite.

As Wiz said, 61-65 here is intentionally worse, but let's have a little faith and see how it turns out.
 
thanks for the druid spell info. just wondering, besides rping purposes, is there a point to the "make rain" and "make snow" spells?
 
I was thinking the same. on eqlive druid just cast 'rain away' or 'snow away', they were used to help people being semi blind to fogging from rain/snow

If Wiz looking for a way to make snowing in zone useful, wouldnt it be cool if it cause every mob in zone being minor snared / slowed by like 5% ?

imagine this, when random snowfall (not from druid) comes in newb zone, everyone shouting "omg snow wuwu"

yeah, but I think that it would bring up a LOT of lag... imagine druids spamming with those spells :mad: :censored: not that im going to do that... :roll: :lol:
 
The point of those spells is flavor and fun. LIke illusion : gender for enchanters, they arent "powerful", they are to goof around with.
 
Why no upgrade of KEI? All do not have ancient spells.... Sure both drops but ancients drop of of mobs that small guilds (non-gotw) cant take down prolly.

Palidons get 96pct rez in live? I think not. This only makes clerics even more a DC-class, which im sure is not intended.
 
There is an upgrade to KEI at 65, Relic: Jayla's Boon. And res is not really that big of a reason not to DC a cleric. Clerics, of all classes, should NOT be the one DC'd. yes, they are boring, but unless they have your full attention (or you are exceptionally skilled in DCing and multitasking, and your other DC'd char is not something like a bard), your group dies. Your raid dies.

Frankly, I like having paladins get 96% res. Just like I like necros getting 93% res for something less than costing an essense emerald. Why? Because it cuts down on time. Clerics still are as needed and always will be. Having paladin res isn't going to make people DC them more or less.
