6-man Mid Tier

Maybe after the Monks changes, or a Dev who isn't really involved with it could just take a look a the loot of Catacombs and make/take some suggestions to bump them up a bit. Or scrap the items there currently and rework them all together. I feel like the zone is nice as far as difficulty, but as pointed out the loot is pretty so-so. Just a problem with how things have progressed over the years, and older content hasn't been updated to stay relevant.

I know we like to keep things as they were created, and/or let the original Dev who created the stuff to make adjustments, but chances are the person (Wiz likely) who made Cata is long gone.

I dont particularly think its killing the game. some members in goon squad used gear from this dungeon while we started.
 
not the dungeon itself, the policy of not touching other devs work even after they have left the dev team for sod. Things that should be fixed but aren't because the dev that made them is no longer around.
 
Some of Hmal is under Emberflow difficulty? Or just under the top end of Emberflow in difficulty?

The beginning of hmal is not super hard. Even the end of hmal. I think hmal is like, the slightly easier emberflow all the way across the board. If emberflow was full of those tentacle guys. wriwhrthtphprtphhwwri or whatever noise they make.

See but that's not entirely true because it was slaar or jumbers that reworked blazewind.

I'm sure if something is majorly broken they'll fix it but if it's continuing with an idea I don't think they want to step on toes. It's hard to continue with someone's vision if they aren't around.

Well, then you rework that person's vision into something of your own. Not fulfilling "original vision", but being done/useful is far better than incomplete and ignored content.
