So, this was a tricky fix as well, but I have movement position updates fixed.
In my local test, I changed the way position updates are sent out. This should fix mobs sliding across the ground and NPCs clipping through the Z (up and down) axis.
Here's a video showing improved NPC movement as of the latest update that's yet to be pushed out to the test server:
In other news, we're really running out of game-breaking bugs to fix on 2.5.
This is very good news; I will be consulting with the rest of the team to determine what's exactly left.
