1h vs. 2h ratios and DPS

It's basically the way Fangor put it. Attacks draw more aggro than just that generated by the damage you dish out--otherwise there's no way a warrior could hold aggro over a wizard...

At some point 2handers got a 20% dmg increase to make them more attractive. So keep that in mind when choosing what to use.

So there is a dmg bonus on 2h weapons?

I think it was a 20% better hit chance, not damage increase.

What Has said is true..

1hers are far greater ( at least for monks, and from playing coltaine, warriors too ) for aggro

My 2hb is considerably more damage than my 1hers and with a far better proc, and the 1hers are slightly ahead ( note that my 2hb is far better than what i'd use for 1h weapons )

It comes down to what the player wants to use and what is needed for the moment. Certain 2h weapons can keep agro with procs also so it just pretty much comes to:

-What the players wants to use
-What is needed (dmg or agro)
-What type of stats/effects the weapons have
