Wondered if this item was worthy of rebalancing.

2% aggression means its definitely a tank item but it's AC of 10 is so-so, +20 sta is not huge given there are no other stats, but -10 to all resists is just horrible.

+185 HP obviously rocks but does it really outweigh all the other points.

It drops off Gharantosh in IP at a time when any aspiring raider is meant to be building up resists.

Overall it compares badly with tier 6 earrings even

or is this meant to be the booby prize that only desperate boobs wear? :D

It's got its drawbacks but yes the HP is worth it ; every T7 warrior is wearing that shit. It's not about desperation, tanks just don't need resists all that much at this particular time.

When you really desperately need resists you are gonna be switiching in a resist earing no matter what anyway.
 
this is one of the best items in game for tanks or characters who tank in exp groups when at that tier.

sure the minus to resists makes it situational. but its still pretty awesome.
 
It's a great earring as it is. If a tank pays attention to when they actually need the resists(what resist checks are needed in the encounter and how often do I resist with it on) then he/she will find the earring to be equipped often. If you're only checking against one resist then is it really so bad? Probably not. But if you're checking 2, 3 or 4 then maybe you wear something else during that fight or raid.

Sure it's the first jewelry I change out when I need resists, but like I said resists aren't always needed...even when spells are being cast.
