Zoning after dying

Hi im new to the server and was playing 2 characters and died with both and both times zoning back to my bind point wouldnt work it just dropped me to either character select or just froze my comp. i looked around the board for this topic to see if it was a problem others were experiencing but didnt find any. If anyone has any ideas or knows of a way to resolve this please help me out :)
 
There was (is) a problem with dying in the same zone that you are bound in. Most times it will make you crash to desktop. I'm not sure if this is what may be your problem, but thuoght I would throw it in.
 
Ah thank you, i in both cases i was in the same zone that i was bound. Well in that case is there another newbie zone i could get xp in to avoid this bug from happening? If anyone has any info or knows where i can find it in the forums would be much appreciated :)

do a /quit right before you die... somewhat faster than crashing and restarting EQ. will boot you to server select
 
Ah good idea thank you :) Im liking this server a lot you admin guys did a good job with it im looking forward to seeing the rest of the zones!!
 
Ah thank you will definately try that. Looked up the WR guide and looked through the level range zone chart and looks pretty cool so will probably move to a different newb zone till 10.
