Speaking of wireless routers and the booting that is involved. . .if I were to forward all of the ports, would that make the connection abit more stable? really hate playing in my basement and would love to be able to play from my room without having to run a cable :).

Most routers have a DMZ option - throw your IP address into this area and it may help.

just re-read your post. If you have connection issues due to a poor wireless signal then port fowarding/DMZ will do nothing. In fact thinking into this more, if it were a port forwarding issue - you wouldnt get connected in the first place.

Used to do that to me too... I had static IPs on my computers. Changed to DHCP and it was fixed. Started doing that to me again later, changed back to static IPs and fixed :\
So yeah, try the oppositie of whatever you got going.
