Zone Modifier Reset Broken

Earlier today I dinged 65 on aniketos. My zone modifier in Sirens Grotto(zone i dinged in) reset. However, my modifiers in all other zones i have been in did not.

I was asked to put this here. If you have had a similar problem, please post so the problem can be pinned down.

I didn't pay much attention when I dinged 65 because I did it on accident at a raid but after visiting some zones that I'm SURE I hadn't been to since leveling, I had no bonus there.

It's not broken, but it only resets EXP gained towards LEVELS, any exp you gained aaing before 65 would still count towards zone penalties.

EDIT: As it turns out, it was actually broken in a different way - it was resetting AAXP in the same zone you're in. Fixed that.

Then what's the point of a reset at 65, unless you plan to raise the level limit in the future?

The point is that you have fresh New Zones when you start to AA EXP, if you start prior to level 65 then you will not have them reset again at level 65.

Ahh, I think I misunderstood the way it works... experience gained torward normal levels will normally affect your AA exp as well? I had thought they were 2 separate pools.

(I've never done any AAXP before 65, so was a little fuzzy on the details.)

They both erode your New Zone, but only the portion of the erosion that was done via regular (non-aa exp) will get reset when you ding level 65.

Understandiable since before you hit 65 thiers a few zones you can do some killer AAing in.

As a casual player that is outside of the busy times, I decided to AAxp my lvl61 character. This leads to opportunities of being picked up by lvl65 groups as a filler (I know I am not doing comparable damage as a lvl65 but every bit helps) with AAxp currently set at 90%. Is this hurting my future AA zone modifying?

From my understanding, you are only hurting yourself if you are AA'ing in zones that are good exp at 65. This is because the modifier won't reset for the AA exp you have gained in those zones.
