Zone Crashing

There might be a post here about this, but I didnt see it. I was wondering why I crash so much while zoning. I have tryied with or without EQ playnice. I have repatched all files for SoD. I dont know why, but the game is becoming less enjoyable cause i feel like I have to pretty much stay in one or two zones. I dont not crash at every loading zone, but about 70% of the time I zone, EQ stops responding. What can I do?

My system: 1024 ram
2X 120 gig SATA hds
Radeon 9800 pro
asus MB
3+ processor,( dont remember exact speed)
Its a gaming compute, the only thing I can think of, would be my ISP maybe?

In the options menu there is a option to cache zones so you load faster. Turn that off try to run eq and see if it helps. The load times on SOD quick enough you wont notice the differance.

This fixed it for me.

video card?

I have the same issue, turned off cache and deleted temp files and .txc etc, but it still crashes when zoning sometimes...
I have just about the same PC setup including the raedon 9800.. video driver perhaps?

I'm the same. Same set up including gfx card. Crash 1 in 4 times during a zoning. Could well be the video drivers.
