zone crash problems here

I’m having a zone crash problem.

When I would zone or port into Steamfont and Cmal sod would crash out with the pop up error msg “the zone file is missing or corrupted” and I would need a GM to move me out of that zone to play that char again… a friend said the zone files are bad and I had to delete and re patch.

I followed his advice and via the folders: sony > eq> delete all the files for those two zones. Now re patch from live then re patch from SOD patch and all will be good. I deleted all files in the everquest folder with ssartemple and steamfont in the name. Now after re patching I have one file for each in the sony > eq folder …

ssratemple_chr
steamfont_chr

I reloaded sod and tried to zone into Cmal again and crashed with the same error msg.

If I can get someone to email me thier zone files for ssratemple (Cmal) and steamfont will this fix the problem or is it something else that is broken or missing from my files?

This is a problem for all my chars on all accounts, thanks for any help with this.

I've had the same issue with Thurgadin. I can't find a dl of the zone files anywhere (help a woodelf out?), tried re-patching, and I know by now it's laughing at me.

Aside from this, I also tried logging in to see if re-patching has done anything for me recently, and when I get to the select char screen I see a lvl 0 war name load hanging around The Eternal Well.
Help would be appreciated.

I'm having the same problem but with the dream zone, which means I can't get into the game at all. Can anyone help me out? I've repatched and downloaded all the files from the website and still no luck.
