You can't really tell me with a straight face that any pre-luclin model looks 'better'.

Using old models for nostalgic reasons I can understand maybe you think the new ogres look stupid, but definitely not better.
 
Old models here, and I have a new system that pretty much rocks. I prefer the old animations mostly, altho I haven't compared them in a VERY long time. But I remember loathing the animations of the new stuff.
 
Old models are more fantasy

New models are too bland... everyone looks the same except height... and the animations are absolutely grade F garbage that needs to never be used ever

Definitly in the boat of old Models, I realy hated the new models for the most part. Particularly the Ogre and Troll new models. Totaly ruined the feel of both races for me. That and the Elemental models the old models just have so much more character to them. I like the fact taht they look alien, where as the new models there all humoidish in shape.

The less stress on your system is jsut a bonus in my mind :)
