I"m sad. I was planning on spending the day playing on Winter's Roar. I logged on around 10am. The new grouping code was in and now when you zoned, you stayed grouped. However, due to full level 65 groups gaining about 9% xp a kill, the server was taken offline for retooling. It's now 1:20 pm, and I still haven't been able to play. It's raining here, so I have no where outside to go. Guess I'll just go watch Star Wars RotS for the first time.
 
Unfortunately, Wiz is pretty sick and fell asleep, so the server will be down for a considerable amount of time. :(
 
That is Seriously Gay... Well can you wake him up LMMFAO. then he can go right back to bed...... why did he have to shut down server if he knew he was goin to bed. or why didn't he put server back up before goin to bed??? J/W ... Curious
 
If anyone ever wakes up Wiz while he's sleeping or sick I will break your toes one by one.

Here's hoping for his fast recovery. Wiz should eat lots of chicken soup. It's been scientificaly proven that chicken soup increases your white cell count.

Should probably have two people who can administer/edit/turn on and off code for the server so some of that load can come off Wiz's shoulders.

I nominate you Melwin.

I know the server is down due to the grouping code. Is there no easy why to simply remove the new grouping, and just go back to the old way of being ungrouped when you zone?
 
The server was brought down because exp. was six times the normal amount, if not more, provided you were in a full group, or at least that's how I'm understanding it. So the server obviously had to come down, so it's not like they chose to just bring it down for fun.

Well hopefully it gets fixed soon....I was hoping for some solid play sessions this weekend and will be miserable if not back up soon...

And you don't want me around code, anyway.

AFAIK Wiz is THE coder. There may be small bits and pieces of code that others did, but I doubt anyone is going to be coding instead of Wiz. If Wiz isn't around, it won't get done.

Yeah I was looking forward to playing too. Seriously guys, when you get sick do you really give a shit about a GAME? I don't. Sorry but RL takes priority over the game. I would have said "Oh well, gonna go outside with the dog for a bit" but as I found out the server was down...it started raining here.

There is a god. He hates me.

Raining here also and my top is down. Unfortunately I am in a one deep slot in the Enterprise Management section at my unit so I am SooL. Whats worse, I can see my car from the floor I'm on ;(
