Worried about my character name

Hi there

I have a new character that I'm building up and he has a name that might be trouble, so I thought I had better check this and make sure it's okay with staff.

Its not a name from popular culture, but his name is Tabasco & there is a food sauce called Tabasco. I thought at the time, it probably wouldn't matter as its just a random thing. I'm really hoping this is okay, but please let me know as I've put some time into building him and I'm fond of him!

the worst we would possibly do is jail you for continuously using names that are in violation :psyduck:

we wont delete your character , only flag him for a new name :keke:
 
Your name will probably be flagged. Names of products are not ok, but regular names are fine. Ex:

Jack is OK.

Daniels is OK.

Jack Daniels is not OK.

If you wanna cut me a check, I will overlook most naming violations - but I cant guarantee the other GM's will. Most of them require payment as well and I know Tempus's price is rather high.
 
Yes I am going to donate, its been on my list of things to do.

I can probably only go in as a silver atm. But if my work goes well this summer I might be able to upgrade. Tell me, if I go Platinum for a while, and then have to downgrade can I still get access to the Fashion items & dragon illusion after I downgrade ?

First off, being a donater has *nothing* to do with your name... even if you're platinum, and you break the naming rules, you'll have to change it. (AKA, Dynak was joking!) :dance:

As far as dropping status, no, you will no longer have access to pocket plane, that amulet will be taken from you, as will the gold illusion item, if you drop back to silver.

If you buy the shinys in pocket plane (golden armor, WR bag, etc.), and then lower status to say silver, you keep those. Items are not stripped, you just lose the pocket plane privileges, which include the dragon illusion and purchasing more shinys.

Not that we mind another donation at all, but Dynak was joking. Donator status isn't used for anything at all other than the handful of toy items explained on the donator page (scarecrow illusion clicky etc).

Trust me. It gets you no special privileges outside of what is listed on the donation page. I haven't been jailed, but I have been warned in the pretty yellow test... I will say my name change was pre-plat status, but even if I was plat, I had no right to bitch about it! :cool:
 
money makes a shit difference if u have alot of it in this world u can break rules but in the world of SoD rules are the same for everyone even gamemasters and admins. btw i like Tabasco sauce especially the green kind.
