Worn-Out Sewing Kit

i think it used to work as one, until it wore out

oh ho ho!

ya we got that. we also have like 8 vah banners and no ability to switch them without a giant headache as a monk.

I don't think this suggestion would topple the delicate sewing kit balance progression empire.

In regards to that honestly I don't see any reason for the vah banners being only one at a time for any other reason than a combine on the fly item seems nifty. They would take the same amount of room if they were just all turned into standards, or a quest could be added to acquire multiple poles. It might also lead to the actual occasional use of some of the crappier banners (I'm looking at you +/- aggro and snare banners).

Also, yes, fixing the sewing kit is a good idea for a quest.

ya. I'm definitely not opposed to another quest to fix the sewing kit. I'm just saying that having a 100% weight reduction sewing kit would be a pretty cool thing to have and I don't think the sky would start falling.

The only dumb thing it'd have to be empty to use it, so using it as a sewing kit would me constant emptying every time you needed to make a combine...

Warning needed

Hi Guys, I just finished the quest for the Worn-Out Sewing Kit today and wasn't quite expecting it to be finished to be honest. Consequently when Apprentice Gehrin handed the kit to me I didn't have a free slot to put it in. All my bags had no-drop items in them at the time and I had to pass the kit to an npc so I could swap the items in my bag around. Well one thing led to another and I ended up being disconnected while the trade window was open and I had something on my cursor so I lost the kit. GM-Monti sorted it out for me eventually, but I think the whole thing could have been avoided it there was a message from Apprentice Gehrin that he was about to give the bag to me rather than just dumping it on me. It would certainly help to stop the same thing happening in the future as I know it's happened in the past (to GM-Monti actually so it can happen to even the "brighter" players)
Anyways, keep up the good work! :D
