Worn acumen

So i remember hearing like a year ago that worn acumen wasn't functioning properly. I was wondering if this was still the case or if it was fixed.
 
This is relevant to my interests as it might make my rogue buy a mask that isn't very "rogue-ish" in stats otherwise...

Also, (not to derail) do worn effects stack with spell effects? As in, would worn Acumen stack with Acumen spell? Likewise would Regeneration on an item stack with Regrowth of The Grove?
 
I don't know what thread it was in, but I fixed it near the end of last year, and used what I learned to make those worn illusion halloween masks.
 
Last thing I heared that worn acumen works, but only the highest worn acumen you wear is in effect in case of multiple worn acumen effects.
It also stacks with spell acumen.

So in closing Blahblah worn effect always stacks with Blahblah spell effect of the same type? Are there any limitations to this? Things like regen would still stack correct? Ikildian Chestplate and Mielech's Heart etc. would stack with spell regen but not with each other?

Yes it SEEMS as though it would work like that from what I read, but I would like a definite answer. :)
