wizard "free" mana nukes

as most wizards can attest, the casting time on these spells is screwed up. meaning when the casting is finished you still have to stay still for ~2sec or spell is interupted. At one point there were several bug reports about it listed on the bug site. As I browsed it yesterday I noticed that they had all been "dismissed". Does this mean that there is no plan to fix this problem? I was just curious.

wizards are complaining about mana free nukes? so what if you have to stand there for 2 whole seconds more, its MANA FREE!
 
The spells have been made slower. You don't have the latest spells_us so your client thinks it's faster than it is.
 
cool, i'll delete my spells_us file to get the new one, hope that fixes it.


edit: hmm, i deleted the spells_us.txt and the patcher doesnt repatch them. oh well. atleast i know it's not a bug but a "feature" :sadf:
 
well, i dont have the .net framework, and am not going to try and download a 110mb file over dial up. so the old patcher will have to do. Unless someone knows some other way for me to get the new stuff
 
I would love to know where you found the spells. I have been looking for the level 12 and 16 spells for some time. I can not find them at the vendors anywhere.
