Wizard Familiars

Currently, both l49 familiars are black drakes, the l60 is an imp (same as the l16), and the relic is a green drake.

Would it be possible to make the Curative Familiar l49 a blue drake and the Sorcerer Familiar l60 a red drake?

I like the idea of Wizard familliars being all the different colored drakes. (Btw, you can change all the dragons color to red. Just ask your local chanter for some help...)

Additional questions, not of the purely cosmetic nature.

What is the reasoning of having the Sorcerer Familiar require a reagent? It seems out of theme with the server.

There exists in the spell file what looks to be an AA or item cast familiar, yet I have been unable to locate the item, and the AA clearly does not exist. Was this removed at some point, an item I have yet to track down, or never existed?

I dont really understand your first question, lots of stuff requires reagents, and the sorceror familiar requires one that's ubiquitous and used for two other wizard spells.

I heard that one of the Wizard AAs used to be a familiar, but now it's something else. (arcane grip maybe?)

I believe the discontinuity would be the fact that no other PET (that I know of at least) requires a reagent by design.

Familiars aren't pets, they're familiars. It sounds piddling, but you can't target them with single target heals, they're immune to some buffs, and some other things.

Is it that terrible/game breaking that you need to call dev's attention on it? :hmph:

And then every class using a reagent to summon would be entitled to ask for a change?

Really you should focus your energy elsewhere...

One of the perks of Relic: Familiar is that it dosent require a reagent....making none of em need one is silly. Is it really that hard to get dots?
