Wizard AA: Deflect and CMal

I drew aggro on my wiz and tried to hit my Deflect hotkey and a message came up saying that this spell is not castable here. Is this intended or can it be looked at to make the AA usable in this zone?

No knockback type spells are permitted in cmal.

If the knockback cannot be used, it would still be nice if the agro reduction on this AA still went off without a hitch.

I like when I go in there and get aggro then use my key and THEN remember that it doesnt work. It's such an instictive AA.

It happens in other zones though too (in case the OP didn't know).

I didn't know actually, thanks for the heads up. I got this AA not too long ago and forget to use it, since I cast concussion quite a bit (probably more than is necessary, really) and don't draw aggro too much.

Fair enough. I suppose it would be too much work to make the mobs immune to knockback but have it be enabled in zone (like Giants/Dragons)? And is there a list of which zones have knockback disabled?
