With Pristine around the corner...

With the Pristine code around the corner has anyone else noticed players suddenly selling off loot and others no longer buying?

A few people I know (including myself) have stoped buying gear and sold off anything extra they had laying around. I had some gear on alts (kinda used, but not enough to make them no drop). I know for me its not worth buying any gear right now. Anything I could buy could very quickly become upgraded by a raid so its not worth the cash sink the Pristine code will turn it into. So instead I saved my money and sunk it into things I would need no matter what (spells for example).

I have also noticed a sudden increase in demand for a few items.

Cloak of Bloody Offering had jumped from 700pp all the way to 1200 in the last week. I have started seeing it in listsolds for 1500.

Anyone else out there noticeing these trends?

People are buying what they can while they can before the changes go in and it becomes a plat sink to get the gear. Now would be a great time to have some of that uber gears to sell off.

the opposite for me... i spent like 10k+ on items just to get em equipted before pristine goes in.. last i recal all items equipted before dont go no drop. so i should be able to sell them all again.

Thats true, that might explain the sudden jump in prices on a few items. People madly buying them up to place on a alt they might play.
